The exams vary from country to country. To be a certified translator, an individual will have had to pass one of these exams. A certified translation is a translation accompanied by a signed statement attesting that the translation is true, accurate and complete to the best of the translator's knowledge and ability. In our case, we have studied 5 full years to complete a sworn translation course of studies to be awarded with a Bachelor's Degree in Translation. Our translators also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Scientific, Literary and Medical Translation. We are not simply certifying a translation, but we are being true and accurate to the original document we are presented with. Translating is art, not everyone was born to be a translator, so be cautious when you choose the right person to handle your documents.
